The Receipts Go app is open source software. When downloaded from Google Play, the app incorporates and/or uses Google Play Services, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics libraries. Data collected by the app via these services is entirely optional and can be adjusted via the app’s settings page.
Collection of basic device data such as device type and Android version cannot be disabled, however. This data is used to ensure the correct functioning and deployment of apps via the Play Store, as well as identifying and preventing fraud (for example ad click fraud). This privacy policy applies to the aforementioned data and is detailed below. WirelessOps Development / Principled Software operates and maintains the Google Play variant of the Receipts Go app. This privacy policy will explain how our organization uses the personal data we collect from you when you use the app.

What data do we collect?
We collect the following data:
- Device or other IDs: Identifiers that relate to an individual device, browser, or app installation. For example, (when enabled) the Firebase installation ID. Google Play transmits this information and allows us to view how many users have installed a certain version of our app, when they installed it and the region of the Play Store from which it was downloaded
- (Optional) App Interactions: Information about how a user interacts with our app. For example, the number of times they visit a page/screen, or what they tap on. It may also include the state of settings chosen in the app, such as the use of dark mode or light mode, or other non-personal settings.
- (Optional) Crash Logs: Crash log data from our app. For example, the number of times our app has crashed, stack traces, or other information related to crashes. No personal information is collected or transmitted in such cases.
- (Optional) Diagnostics: Information about the performance of our app. For example: battery life, loading times, latency, frame rate, and other technical diagnostics/statistics
How do we collect your data?
Most of the data we collect is done so without direct contact with you, the user. We collect data and process data when you:
- Download and/or install the Receipts Go app from the Google Play Store
- Open or use the app; when the app crashes or fails to respond; when you uninstall the app
- Use or view our website, via your browser’s cookies
- When you email or contact us directly online or by any other methods
WirelessOps Development / Principled Software may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:
- In aggregated and anonymized reporting via Google Play regarding your download or removal of the app, even if you opt-out of any of the aforementioned data collection
How will we use your data?
WirelessOps Development / Principled Software collects your data so that we can:
- (When opted in) Optimize app usage, improve the app and our related services, and analyze app crashes and bugs
- When you contact us, we can reply and maintain a record of the communication for compliance and security purposes, and in order to solve your issues and improve our products
Your data is not shared with any other companies other than those listed at the start of the Privacy Policy, who collect the information on our behalf.
How do we store your data?
WirelessOps Development / Principled Software securely stores your data following industry best practices.
We keep your device and diagnostic data for 1 year, after which it is anonymized in such a way that the remaining information is purely statistical. For example, there were 10 app users on a particular day.
What are your data protection rights?
WirelessOps Development / Principled Software would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
